Why this page exists
I run affiliate content on my YouTube channel, and the FTC requires me to disclose that. Here's the deal, in plain terms.
The YouTube situation
I run a YouTube channel called The Night Build. Some of what I post there is affiliate content — meaning if you sign up or buy something through a link I share on that channel, I earn a commission. It doesn't cost you anything extra. The price is the same whether you use my link or not.
Who I partner with
Right now there's exactly one affiliate partnership: AI Profit Boardroom, an AI-focused learning community. I'm a paying member first and an affiliate second — I joined because I wanted in, not the other way around. If I add more partnerships, they'll get listed here.
How I decide what to promote
I only recommend tools I actually use. If I'm still testing something, I say so. If a vendor gave me something for free, I say that too. Absent either of those, assume I paid for it with my own money.
The opinions are mine
Nobody edits my content and nobody buys a post. This blog is entirely non-affiliate: no referral links, no sponsored posts, nothing here tracking you. The YouTube channel is where any money happens. This is where I write.
If something looks off
If you think I've described a product in a way that's misleading, email me at hi@scottslab.io. I'll fix it or take it down.
